Part of #36

zfj repo clone <repo> [<dir>] [--protocol ssh|https] [-- <git clone args>]

  • The repository: <owner>/<repo>, or a bare <repo> for the authenticated user's. It isn't read from a remote; there's no clone yet.
  • Runs git clone <url> [<dir>] <args> with clone_url or ssh_url by protocol.
  • When the repository is a fork, adds an upstream remote for its parent, in the same protocol, so the issue commands in the new clone reach the parent (git.remote_names prefers upstream).
  • Protocol: --protocol if given, otherwise the instance's default, otherwise https. The default is new: zfj login <name> <url> --protocol ssh|https records it with the instance in the config, and logging in again changes it.
