A cross-assembler for the 6502, 65C02 and 65816 that accepts the source syntax of MERLIN — The Macro Assembler For The Apple, by Glen Bredon (Roger Wagner Publishing, 1984). Period Apple II source files assemble unmodified on a modern host, down to the bytes: Glen Bredon's own APPLE PI demo, five modules on the Merlin Pro disk, assembles and links here to the binary he shipped in 1982.
