Delete branch "new-version-json"
Deleting a branch is permanent. Although the deleted branch may continue to exist for a short time before it actually gets removed, it CANNOT be undone in most cases. Continue?
For jeff/winget-submit#1. The submission's pull request body names the version it was copied from, and only
wingetsourceknows winget's version ordering.new-version --jsonprints{"directory": ..., "copied_from": ...}. Without it the output is unchanged: the directory alone.new_version()returns aWritten(directory, copied_from)rather than a bare path. Nothing outside the tests called it.The option is added and nothing is changed or removed, so the command line stays compatible as ADR 0004 requires. Tested with a new unit test, and by a
--jsonrun on a copy of the tree, which printed{"directory": "manifests/j/JCOllie/Clipwatch/0.2.1", "copied_from": "0.2.0"}.🤖 Generated with Claude Code
