What

Make selection autoscroll's speed depend on how far past the pane's edge the pointer is, so it is easy to stop on a line just past the edge and quick to cover a long scrollback further out.

Behavior

  • Just past the edge: about one row every 100 ms.
  • Rising to one row every 15 ms about five rows' height out, and no faster beyond that.
  • Distance is measured in cell heights, so the curve scales with the font size and the display scale rather than with pixels.
  • Each tick still scrolls exactly one row; only the interval between ticks changes.

Everything else is as in #20, which this builds on.
